Newspaper Exec Resigns; Accused Of Spanking Young Women

A well-known Alabama newspaper man is resigning over accusations of bizarre behavior. H. Brandt Ayers, chairman of the company that owns the Anniston Star, is stepping down because of reports that back in the 70’s, he gave spankings to female reporters. In some cases, leaving marks.
